Check-out Flight Information

​

For the safety of all renters, a short checkout flight  (~20 minutes) in our aircraft is required before renting the airplane. This gives us an opportunity to become familiar with your flying experience and make sure you are comfortable and proficient in our aircraft.

​

The checkout flight is billed at $55/hour. This rate is for the checkout pilot or instructor and is separate from and does not include the cost of aircraft rental.

​

Never flown a Cessna before? No problem! If you hold a pilot certificate but have never flown a Cessna, we can absolutely work with you. In this case, your check-out will be conducted with a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). Depending on your experience and comfort level, this may take a little longer than a standard checkout or may require more than one flight before you are ready to fly the aircraft independently.
